DRAINFIX TWIN allows a variety of combinations
DRAINFIX TWIN is the ideal product for these requirements. Elements with drainage perforations as well as closed elements can be combined in many ways to cover a wide range of applications. This unique modular design offered clear advantages to the customer compared to an Italian competitor who offered infiltration tunnels. The competitor system did not allow the flexibility of combinations. In consequence, a comparable solution would have been significantly more costly. Site manager Nicola Altini of Castelli Re from Milan confirmed the positive experience: "DRAINFIX TWIN was very quick and easy to install."
The DRAINFIX TWIN variant 0/1 with closed top shells and perforated base shells makes it possible to re-use large quantities of the excavated earth and ensures even infiltration. The system requires no gravel, which is so hard to obtain in Sicily. The wave design (see section) provides an optimum ratio of space requirement to infiltration volume and has no problem standing up to the pressure from golf carts.
